The MK-58 Hawker Hunter was commissioned as a fighter jet by the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom in the late 1940s and early 1950s. It was eventually utilized as a fighter-bomber and for information gathering. It was produced in single and double pilot versions. This was widely exported and has been used by militaries all over the world. It was officially retired in 2014 and is now classified as a “warbird,” with a top speed of just under 700 mph and a reputation as one of the greatest early fighters.
