North American F-100 Super Sabre
It was a supersonic jet fighter aircraft that served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1971, then in the Air National Guard until 1979, when it was finally decommissioned. This jet was unique in that it was the first aircraft in the United States Air Forces capable of supersonic flying while in level flight. The F-86 Sabre was supposed to get a high-performance upgrade. For numerous flights over North Vietnam, the aircraft was converted as a fighter-bomber and was eventually overtaken by the ultra-quick F-105 Thunderchief. These planes have been spotted on the market, with prices ranging from $664, 000 to $664,000.
McDonnell F-101 Voodoo
A supersonic jet that served in both the United States and the United Kingdom. The Voodoo was built as a nuclear-armed fighter bomber and as a photo-reconnaissance aircraft based on the same airframe. It was originally meant to be a long-range bomber escort, but was instead developed as a nuclear-armed fighter bomber and as a photo reconnaissance aircraft. The aircraft’s F-101A version set multiple speed records for jet-powered aircraft, including the fastest airspeed. The United States Air Forces retired it in 1972, and the Canadian Air Forces retired it in 1984. The Voodoo can be as expensive as $1.819 million.
