The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine tactical fighter plane developed by McDonnell Douglas, which is now owned by Boeing. It was first flown in 1972 after being designed in 1969. The aircraft has been victorious in actual aerial combat 100 times with no losses. The Israeli Air Force has primarily employed it in combat, but it has also been exported to Japan and Saudi Arabia.
