When they were digging the mummies, the pressure of the sediment cracked the head, posing a problem for the forensic team. It’s a fortunate thing that contemporary technology permitted all 96 fragments to be reconstructed. Photogrammetry was utilized to reshape his cranium. The Brazilian Team of Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Odontology developed the image below.
