King Henry IV
King Henry IV, also called “Henry the Great” or “Good King Henry”, became the King of Navarre when he was 19 years old. He married two months after that. Protesters swarmed the city in celebration, but it quickly became known as “St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre.” He barely survived and served in the French Court.

According to records, he was the target of 12 assassination attempts! He was chosen for the recreation project because of his religious tolerance, according to the researchers. This reconstruction was created by Philippe Froesch and Philippe Charlier. The 13th attempt on the Good King’s life was unsuccessful. He was stabbed by a Catholic in 1610.
