When we look back at our history, we may see that there are key personalities about whom we know very little. Sure, we have access to beloved historical people’s paintings, sculptures, and portraits. But how accurate are they, exactly? The truth is that these items were ordered in order to impress people, thus our view may be biased. CGI and 3D printing technology have made it possible to replicate the actual appearance of several notable historical personalities using modern technology. It’s remarkable that Cleopatra and Queen Elizabeth I can genuinely glance back at us when we look into their eyes. Prepare to have your mind blown by them!
King Tut
From 1332 to 1323 BC, Egypt was ruled by King Tutankhamun. He only ruled for ten years before dying. Archaeologist Howard Carter found the tomb of this New Kingdom pharaoh in 1922. When it was discovered, it had been sealed for nearly 3,200 years! They discovered numerous items and treasures in the tomb, all of which were intended to accompany him to the afterlife.
